The best Romanian students get to this contest from every county of Romania. These students are the best at the ''Olimpiada Judeţeană de Informatică'' which takes place in every county. The best students at ONI enter Romania's team for IOI, BOI and CEOI. The Olympiad of Informatics consists of several rounds of solving complex computer programming problems using algorithms capable of delivering results in a limited time (usually at most 1 second).
